Cromer
Cromer is a small fishing town 105 miles from Sherington and Cromer crab is a famous delicacy. It has always had close links with the sea. A wooden jetty, 70 yards long was put up in 1846 and proved an attraction for Victorian holidaymakers. Its use was governed by various bylaws, including not allowing smoking until after 9:00pm when ladies had retired for the evening.
