GREENLEYS MIDDLE SCHOOL
The school opened in September 1975 with only four classes; one for each year. The children from the first houses built were first of all sent to Wyvern and Bushfield but then the First School was built and the younger children transferred from Wyvern.

However, Bushfield was, at the time, absolutely full and with no prospect of building a new Middle School the Swift plan building was erected very quickly. The school was built to take the children from Greenleys, Hodge lea and Stacey bushes.
