This photo is of the Norton family outside of their farmhouse which was on Elkington Road. It was taken some time at the end of the 19th century. In the late 1980's the local authorities" listed" many houses in Yelvertoft and the rest of Northamptonshire which means permission is needed to make changes or demolish "listed" buildings. Sadly the council were too late to save this building which was knocked down in the 1960's. | |
