4.1.89 School opened for the Spring Term. 3 transfers in bringing N.O.R. to 202.

5.1.89 21 new entrants were admitted to school bringing N.O.R. to 223.

23.2.89 I visited exhibition at Aylesbury for ordering new equipment for "Rising 5's" next term.

10.4.89 School opened for the Summer Term. Two transfers into school. 17 statutory 5's admitted and 22 "Rising 5's" for the afternoons only.

6.9.89 School opened for the Autumn Term with 177 on roll. 7 classes as follows:

Class 1 - Helen Campbell, Class 2 - Angie Noble, Class 3 - Janet Linthwaite - newly appointed, Class 4 - Dana Paul, Class 5 - Barbara King, Class 6 - Jean Sudworth, Class 7 - Joy Dawe.

4.10.89 Sharing Assemblies started - well attended by parents, siblings and grandparents.

1.12.89 I was out - PSE secondment, visiting Southampton University. The planting ceremony organised by Helen Campbell - Silver Birch between present classes 2 and 3.
