Beginnings

In 1959 they acquired the village hall in Thornborough, which they used all week apart from one afternoon per month. The group increased to 18 pupils of mixed ages and abilities. So they added some different activities including painting, singing and social skills.
The children used the village of Thorn-borough as a play ground and here the children are looking for tadpoles in the stream which ran through the village.
