28.6.91 The tapes have arrived, amid much excitement, and can be purchased from school @ £3 entitled "The Wellsmead Year" - They mark the School's 20th Birthday.

19.7.91 THE OFFICIAL CELEBRATION OF WELLSMEAD FIRST SCHOOL'S TWENTIETH BIRTHDAY. The School actually opened in September 1971. In the morning all the children watched a puppet performance of "Jungle Book" performed by The Group Theatre Company - excellent. A special party packed lunch was enjoyed by all. During the afternoon a Birthday assembly was held and candles were blown out on a specially made cake. Parents were welcomed into school and refreshments were served. The MK Herald newspaper took a photograph. Builders began work on the kitchen conversion.
