The centre:mk and Midsummer Place combine to make the biggest UK covered shopping centre at 1.66m sq ft.
The centre is the UK's longest, from the John Lewis end to the West End extension.

2000 - Merit award for Best Single Event, awarded for the Motor Show and Community Relations (Runner up award).

1999 - 'Loo of the Year' in 2 categories for National Disabled Toilet and National Baby Change Facility. Midlands area retail winner for general loos.

1999 - BCSC (British Council of Shopping Centres) Best use of new media and marketing award.

1997 - 'UK's No 1 Centre for retail directions' awarded for the tenant mix and sales.
