The Final Resting Place
Rev. Guest died at a Bedford nursing home on Saturday the 6th , December 1946 aged 79. Dying only two months after leaving New Bradwell he had almost kept to his promise made in 1921 that he wouldn't leave the parish until his dying breath. He was cremated at Cambridge Crematorium.

In New Bradwell nowadays there is a street that has been named Guest Gardens, a fitting tribute to the man who devoted most of his working life to this community.

Pictured opposite is Mr. Allan Newman Guest, son of Rev. Guest. Mr Guest very kindly agreed to be interviewed and also provided us with some lovely family photos and documents which you will have seen on previous pages.
