Reverend badly injured in bicycle crash.

It was reported today that the Reverend A.N.Guest of New Bradwell has had an accident whilst travelling down the canal hill from the vicarage to St James' church on his bicycle.

Eye witness reports indicate he was travelling at considerable speed with his feet resting on the footplate under the handlebars when the handlebars came loose, causing him to crash into a row of houses.

He sustained bruising and severe grazing to his head and upper body. He had been attended to by Dr Penny and is expected to make a full recovery, he is now resting at home.

The bicycle has been badly damaged and has been taken to Grafton cycles in Wolverton to be repaired.
