25th September 1908

Last Thursday evening the Reverend Allan Newman Guest was inducted as the Vicar of St James, Stantonbury & St Peters, Stanton Low. The Induction service was conducted by the Archdeacon of Buckingham the Ven C.F.J. Rourke. Also in attendance were Rev. W.L. Harnett M.A.,Rev. H. Last, Rev. E.R. Sill.

The new vicar was spoken of most highly, not only as a preacher, but as the keenest of workers.

He had until recently been the Curate at St John's, Stamford Hill where he had stayed for 4 years since 1904. Previous to that he had worked at St Philip's in Kensington from 1901 - 1903.

But who was this vicar? turn to next page for details.
