Edward Goodman died while only in his forties, but his wife carried on the business with the help of her sons. After she died the business was split into three separate firms

Another grandson set up his own scrap metal business in 1951, but after Milton Keynes Development Corporation compulsorily purchased his land for the building of the new city he switched over to Skip hire, and his two sons are still operating this business as E. Goodman & Sons. | |||||||||||
