TAYLORS MUSTARD
<< BACK
WHY IS TAYLORS SO SPECIAL?

When talking with Mr Taylor about the mustard they produce, all he would say was that the original recipe was still used and that it was "played with". He did admit that a small amount of turmeric was added mainly as a colourant.

All I can say about it is that it tickles the back of the nose and definitely enhances the food!

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS.

I Wish to thank Mr. Stephen Taylor for openly offering information on Taylors and access to his collection of photographs used here.

Thank you to Mr. Hercur Mc Gregor, owner of The Bucks Standard, for permission to use the photographs of Miss World and the Colemans Stage Coach.

A stoneware mustard pot. These were used until 1941 when due to the supply of these pots becoming difficult, amber glass jars were used, and are still used today.
