Odells had its very own ghost, Emily.

Connie said

" We had a ghost in Odells. It was a lady that lived there years ago in a little side room and fell into the fire and eventually died. We never saw her but the smells, quite often the smell of stew and toast. So we quite accepted her. Strange things happened like things falling off shelves and things moving, but we were just accepting it as one of the things in the shop."
