Peartree Bridge Underpass Murals
		Peartree Bridge underpass Mural 1995-1996 A grant from Woughton Parish Council, funded the murals in Peartree Bridge covering four walls, each with a different design. Chris Draude, interactions community arts development worker had 25 young people to help him. A barge floats along one wall, while a train travels through time on another, big deserts, mountains, a chinese dragon and animals. Pollution is powerfully painted and shows just how children feel about destruction of the world around them. A Quilt design by Julia Colquitt Roach, was painted on one of the other walls, squares of colour with a different picture in each one.
