Netherfield - Alphabet Park - By Sculptor Pete Codling
The Alphabet Park is Public interactive art, sculptor workshops were set up with Langland School, pupils made letters with clay and paper in the classroom, in the park pupils experimented making letters with plants and rubbish. The sculptor, Pete Codling drew inspiration from the pupils designs, he ensured that the letters were workable and functional art. The park flows from a play area though to the last remaining pieces of the Owl and Pussycat park, the letters that are sited spell MY PARK.
