Beanhill Underpass Mural - Phase 1
	There are murals both sides of a redway underpass in Beanhill. The underpass between Simnel, in Beanhill and Netherfield, was painted on two separate occasions, 1 year apart, known as Phase 1 and Phase 2. PHASE 1 - 1997 The idea for this mural came from a member of the residents association, Joyce Hall. The artist, Julia Colquitt Roach had help from about 20 young people, it was funded by Milton Keynes Arts Association, Milton Keynes Council agreed to fund the anti-graffiti spray. A suitable underpass was found, two local mothers cleaned the underpass surface in preparation for painting. The children were asked to think of designs, that reflected their community. theme four seasons.
