Willen Church Restoration Festival - June 1970 It was decided to hold a festival to celebrate the successful restoration of the Willen church. It was a remakable feat for a parish which, until 1985, had a population of only 45. |

The festival included a performance by the Alberni String Quartet and a musical entertainment with the Guild of Gentlemen Trumpeters, New Mellstock Band and the Newport Pagnell Singers. During the festival there was an exhibition on Robert Hooke in the north vestry, |
