C H Cave Ltd

C H Cave was on the London Road, opposite the blacksmith's. It sold Morris and Wolseley cars. Tom Underhill worked there after the war from 1945 until 1950.

Tom, who lived on the premises, had a nasty shock one night when a lorry drove off the A5 into his sitting room.
