In this site we hope to give children of primary school age an insight into what it was like to live in the tiny village of Old Bradwell during the second world war.

Our project includes sections on the old village school, the evacuation, rationing, toys, the village and home life. We have drawn heavily on the memories of those who lived through the war years in Old Bradwell.

Bradwell is now part of the new city of Milton Keynes.
