At St James Church, Stantonbury there was a shock announcement by the Rev. A.N.Guest last Sunday. Hundreds of couples in the parish have been living in sin due to no license being issued to solemnize marriages at the Church which had been built 50 years previously. Steps will now have to be taken to legalise the marriages and a Bill will have to be presented to Parliament to make the Weddings valid, meanwhile future Weddings have been thrown into confusion.
The above news was received by the congregation with great horror and embarrasment due to its content and the way in which they were informed. This issue was to haunt the relationship between the Rev. A.N.Guest and his parishioners. Next Page
