Father Patrick Connolly

Though brought up in England, Fr Connolly is of Irish descent. He was ordained in 1948 and celebrated his fiftieth anniversary in 1998 by going on a pilgrimage to Fatima in Portugal, a present from the parish. He normally organises a parish pilgrimage once every two years, usually to Lourdes, but following his visit to Fatima, the next parish pilgrimage, planned for autumn 2002, will be to Fatima.
