			It has been decided at a Parish meeting to raise a fund for the purpose of erecting a memorial to the late Miss S E Dickens, who for 30 years taught in the Day and Sunday school. It is proposed to place a brass on the wall of the Church, near the Choir stall she occupied for many years.
					The Plaque dedicated to the work of Sarah Dickens is still on the wall near the pulpit. It is now quite faded but the inscription reads: A Loyal and Faithful worker in Sunday School Choir & parish for Over 30 Years "Enter thou into the Joy of Thy Lord" Erected by her friends & Scholars
