Encouraging Deserters

This fake British poster made to look like an official German propaganda poster shows a large cemetery (bigger than Britain) full of German soldiers. It is supposed to show the effect of the Germans entering war with Russia, and hopefully the German people would think it was not worth it.

In Norway there were some false posters put up telling German troops that if they deserted to Sweden and stayed for 24 hours or more they could remain there. This was to encourage any soldiers thinking about deserting to actually go and do it.
