Unrest Amongst Germans

There was a booklet produced which pretended to be written by a German general in Shanghai. It tells the fake story of how the Japanese were happily sitting back and watching the European nations fight with each other until they were really weak. At this point the Japanese would then take over Europe. This story was to encourage the Germans to wonder if the war was really worth while.
Within the German army there was another army called the S.S. This army were deeply feared by Germany’s enemies as they were often cruel and ruthless. A brochure was produced giving details about special privileges that S.S officers received. This was to make ordinary Germans feel that it was not fair and resent the S.S.
