Times stand still at Fenny Stratford- or nearly so. Mr George Willis and his old grey mare, 'Dolly', make a trip they've made for years in the service of Rowlands Bros. timber merchants, and the hands of St. Martin's clock stay rigidly on 12-0. But the four wheel cart has pneumatic tyres and the church authorities intend that the clock, possibly with rate help, will soon get moving again. | |||||||||||||||||||
