Concrete Rabbit - Artist Lesley Bonner 1970's
This project was built for a pets corner in the grounds of Interaction, It was to represent the pet club, the members mainly had rabbits and guinea pigs.

The rabbit was inspired by the jelly moulds that were very popular at the time. The artist Lesley Bonner was helped by members of the club and also by young people working at Interaction.

The construction of the rabbit, was firstly to build a mound of rubble and rocks meshed in metal, then clad in a layer of concrete, detailed and painted in grey and white masonry paint.
