Sports' Day 1932 continued.
Jim Kempster.
The 1932 Sports' Day programme includes a piece written by Jim Kempster, an 'Old Boy' and famous speedway rider. He talks of 'sportmanship' and ends by saying "whatever sport you may take up after leaving school, let the best man win and never forget your school."
Jim was also a pilot and Eddie Pool remembers him flying over the field on Sports' Day in his light aircraft, doing some aerobatics to amuse those down below.
