Sports' Day was still held at Pages Park, the boys had to help with logistics. Dave Scott remembers having to collect the changing marquee from the local Scout Group and erecting it in the park. This was all done without supervision from the teaching staff. He also remembers the boys' each had to carry a chair along to the park, for their parents to sit on. Quite a task as the park was about 15 minutes walk away. |
