The idea of having a school 'Sports Day' was introduced by Mr Currie, the first one was held on 11th June 1926. The boys would have to carry any equipment they needed to and from the venue at Pages Park. Mr Muskett was the organiser of events, he enlisted the boys help to make marker flags . Old wallpaper books and sticks were provided, the boys had to cut the flags out and attach them to sticks, they were then used to mark the courses for the events. | |
