Unless there is a national shortage, Conkers will always be a popular game for the children at play time. They reappear in the school playgrounds every year, pupils enjoy bringing them to school as well as attempting to play the game. Conkers are also a reminder of harvest time and the song "Picking Up Conkers " is one of the most enthusiastically sung songs in assembly!
